The Great Cajun Crawfish Boil is a casual, family-friendly event that features crawfish shipped in live from Louisiana and boiled on-site by an award-winning Louisiana chef.  In addition to crawfish, we will be serving all the usual sides: corn, potatoes, sausage, mushrooms, onions and garlic.  We will also feature chicken and sausage jambalaya, crawfish pasta and hot dogs for the kids.  Water, soft drinks and Abita Beer(for those 21 and over) are included in the ticket price.

The Great Cajun Crawfish Boil will take place on Saturday, April 10th from 5-9 pm at the Ruben Romero Picnic Area in the Kiwanis Park.
The picnic area has a kids playground, 2 basketball courts, 2 sand volleyball courts and horse shoe pits, along with plenty of room for a pickup game of cabbage ball.  So, bring your volleyball, basketball, cabbage ball, horse shoes, and of course, your appetite, and enjoy this family-friendly environment.

The Great Cajun Crawfish Boil is a joint fundraiser put on by the Cajun Cactus Foundation and the Phoenix chapter of the LSU Alumni Association. The Cajun Cactus Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to unite Southerners living in the Valley, support Gulf Coast and Phoenix charities, and impart Southern charm, culture and hospitality. The mission of the Phoenix chapter of the LSU Alumni Association is to bring both alumni and fans of LSU together in the spirit of camaraderie, community and philanthropy.
